The Opportunity Become a Mechanical Fitter with Aggregate Industries UK at our Hulland Ward site, the UKs largest precast concrete facility. This is a permanent role with regular shifts and on-site work that lets you be part of a company committed to safety, innovation, and sustainable construction. Heres what you can look forward to: Tackling equipment maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and supporting site operations. Perform planned and urgent maintenance to keep things running smoothly. Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime. Keep work areas organised, safe, and hazard-free. Help train other team members in maintenance tasks. Follow safety guidelines and complete required documentation. Who You Are Youre a skilled, motivated fitter with a technical background and a commitment to safety. Youll thrive in this role if you enjoy hands-on work in a supportive, team-driven environment. Heres what makes you a fit: NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification, with experience in welding, cutting, and fabrication. Ideally familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Strong communicator and team player. Organised and able to work to schedules and deadlines. Detail-focused, safety-minded, and adaptable. Flexible and ready to handle rotational shifts.
